Sylvester Israel Ebhonu is the Pioneer Librarian of Admiralty University of Nigeria (a Federal University based in Delta State), where he currently leads the Faculty and Satellite Campus Libraries. He brings over 12 years of experience in capacity building, library administration, coaching, and consultancy. Sylvester is also a media expert, tech enthusiast, author, and an Associate Member of the Practical Artificial Intelligence Development Foundation, as well as other professional bodies.

He is recognized in his field as The Digital Librarian for spearheading numerous initiatives that champion digital transformation, AI literacy, and professional recognition across Africa. His work has directly impacted over 15,000 individuals, including students, corporate workers, religious organizations, and business executives. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Delta State University, Abraka, and serves as the National PRO of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA).
